  • What are the requirements for a new Vevo Channel?
    For new Vevo artist channels, we will need:
    • A PR photo of the artist – must be high quality of at least 2,000 x 2,000 pixels at 72dpi. It also must be an actual photo of just the artist, and cannot be a logo, graphic, or artistic rendering of the artist.
    • A Channel Banner image – The template can be downloaded here. Please be aware of the “text and logo safe area” in the middle.

    Every new Channel created is entitled to a free Channel Banner image design. Just provide high quality images while submitting the Channel creation form.

  • Can I create a Vevo Channel for a Label?

    Vevo does NOT allow labels to have a Vevo channel created. All Vevo channels must be created per artist or group, and must be for an artist or group name.

    Furthermore, the titles of videos uploaded on Vevo are auto-generated from the Artist on the channel. So if we go ahead to create one for Fine Boy (FineBoyVEVO), all videos uploaded will have “Fine Boy – Video title feat. Artist” as their titles.

  • How long does it take to publish my video on Vevo?

    Our video upload/processing time is between 2-48 hours. You may use the video upload form from your account to submit your videos.

  • How long does it take to create my VEVO channel?

    After submitting your Channel creation request, it would be created within 5-7 days.

  • Can Palmwine Media Upload to my Existing Vevo Channel?

    Yes, we can upload to your existing channel. After logging in, use the ‘Request Vevo Channel’ to connect your existing Vevo channel and upload your video.

  • Can I control my Vevo YouTube artist Channel?

    Unfortunately, no. A Vevo branded YouTube channel is not like a regular YouTube channel in that it is managed by Vevo, and they do not give access to a third party. Therefore, artists will NOT receive a login to their Vevo channel.

    As an official Vevo partner, we can make changes and updates to your videos and channel info on your behalf. We can make the following changes:

    • Artist profile photo
    • Channel Banner
    • Social Media Links
    • Channel description
    • Channel keywords
    • Video Description
    • Video Title
    • Video thumbnails
    • Video keywords

  • Can I transfer my Vevo videos from another distributor?

    Since the channels themselves are managed by VEVO and not their partners, you may have multiple partners upload music videos to the same channel. Partners can only manage, own and report on the videos they upload.
